Our Board consists of highly valued advisors who provide crucial guidance and insights to ensure the success of our organization. They advise our Coalition’s team on optimizing our impact and on critical aspects of program implementation.
Our Board members share one common thread – they are all deeply connected to the displacement crisis either through their personal experiences of displacement or through their commitment to dedicating their careers to work with FDPs.

Mazouz is an experienced and visionary leader with a proven track record of providing strategic guidance for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, sustainable projects, environmental stewardship, community investment efforts, employee engagement initiatives, and diversity and inclusion management within domestic and international humanitarian organizations.
In addition, she serves on the Executive Board of the Sheikha Fatima Fund for Women, Refugees, and Children, where she contributes to its goals and objectives. She also serves on the boards of both Mama Africa and HHERF. Amahoro Coalition advisory board member and ZHO for People of Determination member. A Goodwill Ambassador for NWI in the United States and a member of the Emirates Red Crescent UAE,
Nathalie Munyampenda is an educator, storyteller, and CEO of Kepler which is transforming higher education and skilling in Rwanda and Ethiopia by focusing on the outcomes of employment & entrepreneurship.
Prior to Kepler, Nathalie was Managing Director of the Next Einstein Forum (NEF) which wants to position Africa's scientists and innovators at the heart of global development and reframe Africa's contributions and ambitions.
Before her time at the NEF, Nathalie was the Coordinator (DG) of Rwanda's Office of the Government Spokesperson. Nathalie holds a Masters in Strategic Communication from Seton Hall University in the US.
Mr. Daniel Endres of Switzerland currently serves as the Secretary-General's Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan a.i., serving also as the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, a.i.
Mr. Endres recently served as Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for East Africa, from 2021 until 2022, based in Nairobi. He has also held various senior leadership functions with UNHCR, at field and Headquarters duty stations, in International Protection, External Relations and Emergencies. Mr. Endres was the Director of the Division of International Protection (DIP)/Division of External Relations Global Compact for Refugees and UNHCR's Director of the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (2016-2020) based in Geneva.
Prior to this, he was the Director of UNHCR Division of External Relations (2012-2016). Mr. Endres held many other key roles: he was the Director of the Regional Bureau in Brussels (2011-2012) and Representative of UNHCR in Iraq (2008-2011). Mr. Endres also worked as the Head of Emergency and Technical Support Service (2006-2008) and Emergency and Security Service (2005-2006) in UNHCR. Mr. Endres also served as Deputy Representative of UNHCR in Kabul, Afghanistan (2001-2005).
In 2015, Aisha Ali Mohamood had no idea how she, alone, could translate her love for children and refugees into actual help. She had no clear strategy to give back. But when she called her friends and asked them to volunteer their time, everything started unfolding. With strong faith coupled with a deep belief that she could make a difference, she dug into her little savings and decided to just get started. That is how I Profile Foundation began.
I Profile Foundation is an organization that seeks to run long-term annual projects with primary schools and refugee youth as well as children to promote integration and conflict skills with an emphasis on leadership and financial literacy. Their programs focus on school children aged between 5-14 years and their training focuses on three areas which include legacy, leadership, and etiquette. In 2017, Aisha and her team began working on the Koin Dream Challenge. It is an initiative that enables students to be a part of the savings program organized by I Profile Foundation. These students are drawn from the schools they have developed a close relationship with.
For this very challenge, they have been able to get partnerships with some of the local banks like Bank of Africa. These are aimed at helping them achieve their goal of reaching out to many more schools.
Dr Sylvia Vito is a seasoned business executive with over 17 years of experience in executive Leadership across the African Cluster. She is a transformational and versatile leader with extensive experience in Africa. She has effectively managed multiple countries, led commercial teams & business partners, driving business performance and community investment initiatives, and leading strategic projects across Africa with high-value and long-term Public Private Partnerships in Africa. The Leadership of Healthcare investment Africa projects in Cancer, NCDs in general are her greatest highlights in her career.
Dr. Vito is a seasoned C-suite business executive with a medical professional background with and 17-plus years of experience in Healthcare Leadership across the African Cluster. She currently serves as the Africa Head of EVA PHARMA International. She has previously worked extensively in the Healthcare and pharma industry ( Hoffman la Roche, GSK, AstraZeneca) leading Africa in several capacities to drive commercial and infrastructural developments, investments in healthcare systems strengthening, commercial performance and community investments around Communicable and non-communicable diseases and Vaccines
She has trained in Strategic Project Management at University of Oxford Said Business School, Executive Masters Business Administration (GIBS), a Bachelor degree of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi, Values Based Sustainable Leadership - Strathmore Business School, Women in Executive Leadership - Strathmore Business School and Accelerating Difference Executive Global Leadership Program - London Women on Boards FFWD.
On Women's Leadership in health, Sylvia opines that the healthcare environment in Africa is changing at a rapid pace. Impacted by a fast, young growing population, lifestyle choices and environmental contributions, means Africa will experience pressure on an already fragile healthcare.Women leadership in global health is a strong pillar in curating leadership that addresses these issues.
Prof Luis G. Franceschi, LLB, LL.M, LL.D is the Assistant Secretary General of the Commonwealth. He coordinates the Political, Democracy, Electoral, Public Sector Governance, Good Offices, Rule of Law, Judicial Transformation, Human Rights, and Countering Violence and Extremism work in the 56 member countries. He is also the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting - CHOGM Conference Secretary, and, together with the Head of the Host Country Task Force, oversees the organization and negotiations throughout the meeting.
Prof Franceschi was the founding Dean of Strathmore Law School. He loves positive and disruptive innovation as a thinker, educator, and writer. He received the 2019 Legal Excellence CB Madan Award and the 2018 Utumishi Bora National Award. In 2019, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford (https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/people/luis-franceschi) and U.C. Berkeley Law School. His area of expertise focuses on judicial transformation, comparative constitutional law, and innovation in legal education. He has been a legal advisor to several national and international government agencies, including international and regional courts, the United Nations, and the World Bank. He sits on several boards and has been a Governing Council Delegate and the Legal Advisor to the President of the Governing Council of the United Nations Environment Programme, where he co-drafted the UN Nairobi Declaration.

He was also a weekly columnist with the Daily Nation Newspaper (Kenya).
Prof Franceschi likes cycling, running, and mountain climbing and has reached Point Lenana, Mt Kenya (5000 Meters ASL) 5 times, Uhuru Peak on Kilimanjaro (5895 Meters ASL) and the Rwenzori Mountains circuit (Uganda-Congo).
