We visited the African Leadership University and Kepler College in Kigali, Rwanda to introduce our new Skills Hub which is Amahoro Coalition’s digital platform designed to connect forcibly displaced persons to meaningful economic opportunities across Africa. The Hub features job and internship opportunities from across the continent with a focus on refugees and displaced talent, enables partners to create accounts and upload their talent pools, generates analytics to measure impact, allows direct referrals to employers, and helps identify companies and sectors ready to absorb skilled candidates.
Watch ALU Highlights
Hear from Chol Daniel Deng, a refugee student at ALU, as he shares how the Skills Hub is helping him navigate new career pathways, and how he plans to leverage the platform to pursue meaningful opportunities after completing his studies.
Relive the Kepler moments
Students at Kepler College open up about their journeys through forced displacement and reflect on how the Skills Hub is helping them navigate career choices, build confidence, and connect to meaningful opportunities across Africa.
To date, the Skills hub has onboarded 5,800 talent across 27 countries.
Stay tuned for more updates.
